I teach a reading class where they do a ton of reading and work on their Chromebook. They work very hard with what they have, but we do not have enough headphones. So some kids have to do their Chromebook work without headphones and most of the headphones that we have do not work. It is painful to see them not getting the help they need. It doesn't help that when they are working that have to hear what the application is telling them. We print off a ton of papers so they can have access to the material in hand. The printer I have is old and leaks ink. It blurs all the ink together so it makes it hard to see. My students never have utensils to complete their assigned work. Having pencils to lend them would be an amazing resource along with a pencil sharpener. I am sending my students next door to be able to sharpen their pencils. It would be amazing and make class more efficient for their growth. We would be able to see our student excel and grow tremendous amounts in their learning.
