This project is to have the resources to provide engaging phonics and phonemic awareness skills and books for a print-rich classroom. I have chosen time-honored classics and high-interest books to help in small group reading. This project will help my students because there is a lack of available appropriate reading material in their homes. This will help foster their interest and hopefully a love for reading and a variety of genres. It will also help build vocabulary and knowledge about the world outside theirs, and they will never look back.

About my class
