Many of my students lack enthusiasm when it comes to reading. I'm excited to try out the Lakeshore reading games to encourage small group interactions that they have missed out on, while sneaking in key reading activities! We use a computer based learning program to make up for learning loss the past few years and need new headphones for the program. I've selected some high interest novels featuring people of color to give my students options to read about characters they can identify with. I hope these novels will spark a lifelong love of reading!
