During these difficult times where COVID has rocked the World, being an educator and student in Utah has drastically changed. Teaching and classrooms have been greatly affected, and look very different than they did just a few short years ago. Having the right technology is critical to help the students learn the content whether they are in the classroom or learning remotely. I feel having headphones that work well and provide good sound quality will greatly improve the students’ ability to focus on the content they are learning via technology. I also want to keep a balance between virtual and hands-on learning and so I feel that providing hands-on artistic outlets (markers, paints, etc.) will allow the students to connect to the content in many different ways. Combining the headphones with art supplies will keep the balance between hands-on and virtual learning.
