Our students have been greatly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, including disruption to their in-person learning hours. Flexible seating options will provide students with a sense of autonomy during a very unpredictable time, which will undoubtedly lead to increased self-determination skills throughout their lives. As we collectively recover from the uncertainty of the last two years, please help me support my students' ability to choose seating options that will best support their learning. Student choice is essential within the classroom, and I believe these flexible seating options will lead to growth in all areas, including social-emotional learning. Our classroom is a space where students feel supported and celebrated daily, and I can't wait to provide these flexible seating options for them!
