I teach resource students who struggle to find and put away their supplies. We have different students and groups come to our classroom throughout the day. Before the pandemic, students shared the supplies. In an attempt to keep students safe from COVID, they now have their own individual supplies. the supplies are kept in individual packets for each student. Our students struggle to organize their packets. When their packets are not organized, it is difficult for the students to find their packets as well as put them away. This increases transition time and shortens educational time. An organizer would be a great way for them to put their packets away and find them easier to cut down on transitions.
