Legos are great for not only building but hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and trial and error. It opens up their minds to think creatively. They will allow students to collaborate and effectively communicate with classmates while getting to be hands-on. The Lego kits will allow my middle schoolers to learn how to build and make a working model. It will show them that messing up is part of the process. The kits will be used in my college and career awareness class when we talk about robotics, technology, and jobs that go along with them.
