School should not be a one size fits all model. Students need to be comfortable to learn and engage in the school setting. When students have alternative seating, they are able to be more comfortable in the classroom, which allows them to set aside some of the troubles that they may be dealing with at home. The alternative seating that I have requested will help the students in my classroom by lessening their anxiety and being able to better focus in on their assignments. Students have been suffering greater anxiety over the past few years, by providing a comfortable environment with alternative seating, students are able to settle into their work and have more confidence.

About my class
