These Yoga mats and other resources will help students build social-emotional skills through activities found in the Yoga Calm for Children curriculum. These activities help students self-regulate, build empathy for others, deepen understanding of themselves, and recognize their own mental and physical health needs. Yoga Calm curriculum utilizes all of the resources requested through specific activities that simultaneously build physical health while also alleviating mental and emotional burdens. All of these components are essential to a student's health and well-being overall, and since the beginning of the pandemic nearly two years ago, students are needing these skills more than ever. These resources would be well-used and well-loved by our school community.
