Our students will use the refrigerator and oven to make and sell cookies to staff and students in the building. These skills will help develop appropriate work habits and behaviors needed for employment. The materials purchased are not for home use; however, the skills acquired will help them successfully transition these skills for home and employment. The on-the-job training will build confidence and skills they can utilize in the school setting and beyond the classroom. Some of the skills will include, money management, measurement, teamwork, problem solving, leadership, confidence building and self esteem.
