I would like my students to have the opportunity of choosing what they would like to read after giving them a list of options that go along with the curriculum. They will then get into groups to read and discuss their book together. Each student will have a different "job" for each section of the book. For example, one student may be the "summarizer" while another finds background information for the book. This will help my students be more engaged with their learning, and with one another. Having choice allows them to actually enjoy what they are learning.
