The items I've chosen for this project will be used to learn more about events, people and places in our history standards. "Who was" books and graphic novels are a great way to get students involved in the learning and is cross curricular. The office supplies will help create many projects both with the books and with other assignments as well. Books help students escape into places, times or worlds. My hopes are to help my students learn and explore different times and events in history that are important to know and understand.
