-The tools and supplies requested will help me more efficiently provide health care to my special needs students. The supplies are to better organize my equipment, provide care in safe manner, and help students who are struggling with sensory/emotional needs when they come to my office for help. I work in multiple settings and need to have supplies I can have in my go bag. - With the pelvis training tool, students requiring urinary catheterization will have well trained staff to care for them. -Some of my students are non-verbal, some speak little English, and many have sensory issues. Some of the supplies requested will help them better cope with medical intervention. - By allowing the students to receive more efficient medical care, they can return to their education sooner and be away from their learning for shorter periods of time. - Students with limited English or sensory issues will be able to identify their health issues more effectively and thus receive more prompt intervention.
