I am developing a new automation creation class at the school that I teach and would like to offer to students all types of automation. 3D printing will allow my students to bring a digital object into its physical form by writing code that will print the layers of materials. They will make things like prosthetics or even print a piece of hardware that could be used to build an automated machine. These projects that will be built at the school and students will able to take them home to use.
