I am so excited to read, "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" with my students together in our classroom. This book will be both educational from a science perspective, but more importantly, will teach students some important social-emotional skills. This book will help students learn that they can overcome any challenges in life! Also if they work hard, have a good attitude, and have confidence in themselves they can achieve anything. The requested science materials will be such great hands-on learning tools. Students will be able to see visuals that will help them connect what is on paper into everyday learning. The atoms and molecules kit will be a great manipulative that students can use to see a visualization of what is actually happening. The phases of the moon manipulative will really help students understand what is happening during the moon phases. This concept can be complicated for students and this chart can really help to clarify.
