I am asking for donations of nutritious snacks for my students. Due to long lunch lines, transportation issues, and lack of access, a majority of my students experience hunger at some point during the school day. As a result, many students are distracted during instructional time and are unmotivated and uninspired to participate in individual and group activities. The donations to this project will help my students see that the adults in their lives care not only about their academic health, but their physical, emotional, and mental health as well. By providing delicious and healthy snacks for students throughout the day, more students can focus less on their growling stomachs and more on expanding their knowledge and skillsets for future success! This project aims to help students overcome one obstacle that can impede their success: hunger. Help me support my students and show them that full bellies really do equal focused minds.
