These supplies will go a long way to supporting my students' growth individually and as a class. I am hitting my stride in the classroom and am slowly building my collection of resources. The reading folders will be excellent for Language Arts centers, having a set of dictionaries within reach will do wonders for my students' reading and writing skills, and the Snap Circuits will be a fantastic hands-on STEM experience. The kids in my classroom are incredibly bright and thrive with new and different challenges. As the pandemic continues and virtual learning is spliced in with our in-class time, I can see how much my students value the time we have together and want to make the most of it. I would love to give my students the opportunity to stretch their minds and abilities with new skills by teaching them how to read and write in cursive and understand and play chess, both of which have been proven to increase brain function. This collection of materials will go such a long way to not only support their everyday learning and cognitive development, but also extend that reach and spark interest in new topics that many have never encountered before!
