Many students struggled to learn math during the soft closure of the school at the beginning of the pandemic. Students are missing concepts that support the new material covered in my classes. The missing skills can be easily addressed in my classroom. Many students are missing foundational concepts that can easily be taught in a one-on-one scenario during math class. As the student is working on the lesson, I can be more mobile through the classroom to address individual needs as they occur as well as access materials quickly that will benefit their learning.
