Our school highlights STEM. Part of that includes the special seating to help engage students during our Social Emotional Learning and relaxation lessons, culminating activities, and our fun Brain Breaks. For our SEL lessons we hope to engage students and allow them to develop life skills that they will be able to use both inside and outside of the classroom. Providing an area where the students can feel safe and comfortable while learning these skills is extremely vital. They will also help with the students who will also require flexible seating as well. For both our culminating activities and Brain Breaks I find it incredibly important to engage the students kinesthetically.
