These materials will help provide my students with a safe and comfortable place to just be themselves and learn. The stools, cushions, and bean bag chairs will provide alternate seating options for small group collaboration and independent practice. Students will get to choose a place for them that is ideal for their learning style. The carpet will give a cozy feeling and a place for us to gather during our class meetings. The books will bring an update to our classroom library with new stories of overcoming diversity and hardships. These additions to our classroom will help my students to find a sense of security and contentment amid our world of chaos. My goal is for my students to read and just breathe.
