During the past two years, math students have struggled. With limited contact, our students have fallen behind and we need to get them back on track. Students need to catch up, but so many of them feel that the task is too daunting. I’d like to encourage them to learn new concepts, practice forgotten topics, and extend that learning into the future. To help my students do this, I want to Make Math Fun Again! Students are much more interested in "trying" when it is presented to them as a game. The games and Wrap-Ups I chose are perfectly aligned with the Utah Standards for Math 7. I will use these in stations where my students can practice or review topics that are essential for Math 7. Also, topics involving Geometry and Probability are learned much more easily with manipulatives students can touch and spin and put together. I am excited to see my students excited about Math again! The shelf units will allow students to keep their folders in a secure place.
