My students are excited each week when we have art in our classroom. We are concentrating on acts of kindness this year. We have completed the wings of kindness bulletin board; each student has written kindnesses they notice of other students. I am finding that my students have been online off and on for the past two years and need some practice showing kindness to others. I notice the art has effectively gotten my students to work together. Some of my students are finding it difficult to stay in a seat throughout the day; I feel this results from being at home and not be required to keep in your heart during class. The students will benefit from having some optional seating in my classroom.
