Students I provide counseling services to need both resources and motivators to help them learn new skills. Often times, these students become easily bored or frustrated with verbally presented sessions. Therefore, having these supplemental workbooks would help reteach skills through a variety of approaches. Not only is it important to provide lessons that are new and interesting, it is also important to have incentives within the lessons to motivate and reward prosocial behaviors. Having access to a variety of treats and tangible would help students sustain both attention and resiliency to work through new skills.
