During this time of unrest, my students need the reassurance that comes from a daily routine; constant and continual love and encouragement. One of the most empowering things I can give my students is love for reading. This love can change their lives and give them the confidence to succeed in educational pursuits. I have approximately ten students in my classroom who are mainstreamed Special Education and English Learners. The additions to my library would appeal to many of those students. These books will be used in the classroom as well as checked out to students, adding choices to my classroom library and expanding their love of reading.
