I am a new reading teacher and adding more books to my classroom library will be very helpful to my struggling students, especially the Hi/Lo books. Also, having a diversity of genres will give exposure to my students and expand their knowledge. I also used Action from Scholastic at my last school and my students really enjoyed reading them. They are current and on point for my middle schoolers. I also do IEPs and progress monitoring and to have a printer/copier in my room will save me time and give me the ability to adapt and modify assignments based on my student’s needs.
