The more I teach and observe my students in the classroom, the more I realize their need for social-emotional stability. They all have different needs. There are many issues with anxiety. I want to provide some flexible seating options for my students. That way they can find ways to help them focus and continue to learn without being glued to their chair. Students need increased oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength, therefore flexible seating is a way to keep their young minds more alert. I am also in need to ways to assist my students in memorizing their times tables. Each pair of students can use the flash cards, some flexible seating, and help each other learn.
