There are many struggles that prevent the current generation of students from reaching their fullest learning potential and COVID-19 has only added to these challenging times. Students face many challenges within social-emotional and academic learning, sometimes through behavioral struggles or learned helplessness. My project is aimed at making connections, peeking the curiosity and interests of students, as well as building up their confidence. This 3D printer will be used to help other classes and grades at our school to build models that would help reinforce teaching and learning. Struggling students will receive personalized rewards and students will have the opportunity to create their own designs as they learn and experiment with this amazing technology.
