Our students have the opportunity to read exerpts of many exciting novels as part of our reading program even while doing "at home" school. I want to be able to give them the opportunity to read "the rest of the story" that they asked for as we learned from home. I can do that with these classroom novel sets. They'll be able to experience the adventures as they read about these characters. Any help I can give my students to learn to love to read is worth it! The joy of reading is a gift that reaches across generations. Reading can help a child who is worried about the stress of life or illness find an adventure to escape to, or learn from. A good novel can be shared again and again. As a bonus it will give us a cross-curricular component, we study many of these myths in our Social Studies classes. The students love learning about the heroes and gods and goddesses of Greece and Rome. These novels will give them more of the stories they love.
