Our kindergarten students have been left out of the conversation for two years. They've been left behind as we strive to give older students the enrichment opportunities they need. Kindergarten students thrive when learning hands on, in person, and with educators who acknowledge their unique needs as beginning learners. It is my goal to provide them with the socio-emotional resources in class, such as fidget and sensory activities, non-traditional seating, and STEAM activities, to create a safe environment where they can master the academic expectations they are faced with. It is my philosophy that students with access to sensory activities are able to meet the demands of academic rigor our education system places on them today.

About my class
