We are really focused this year on reading progress and proficiency and helping our students make gains in reading. There are a great number of students who are struggling in literacy due to educational gaps incurred by COVID-19. This iPad will allow me to monitor my students' reading progress, identify gaps in their learning, and target my instruction to best help them reach reading and literacy proficiency. Reading is so critical to a student's long-term success in education and overall well-being throughout their life. Our students have a challenging time copying letters at a desk. Pulling the kids one or two at a time, using the writing tools and bean bag chairs will allow us to create a comfortable space and learning environment for those that do not learn under traditional circumstances. Please help me to support my students as I monitor their progress and proficiency in reading and literacy. Please help me to create an environment for students to learn regardless of their abilities.
