The chairs and books I want will help my students stay focused on what is in front of them. The chairs are designed to allow for movement without disrupting learning. They will be placed at the work table at the back of the room where I work with small groups to improve student learning. The books I have ordered span the diverse interests of my students. If a student picks up a book about a topic they are interested in, they are more likely to read it. All of these items will help my students stay focused on learning. They will help create an interest in reading. Reading fluency is the area which was greatly affected by the setbacks in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
