My students are amazing individuals who are working hard to learn their lessons. They have very diverse backgrounds and sizes. Since COVID-19 adjusted our teaching methods, and requires students to have a computer screen in-front of them all day long. They struggle more with staying alert and being an active learner. Several of my students have the challenges of attention deficit disorders and other individualized learning and health needs. This makes it particularly hard for them to keep awake and actively engaged in their learning. Having the ability to stand helps them be able to move less noticeable and still work on their class assignments on their Chrome-books. It can help my attention deficit kids get more done in less time.
