This project will help students learn by understanding how generators and electric motors work. Students will work together build there own motors from the ground up. By giving students the chance to build things by themselves, they can then understand how things work and it builds that gap not only seeing how things work but how things work by building it themselves. Education is changing and students need to get there hands dirty by building and understanding how the world works around them instead of memorizing content in hopes of learning.
