My students practice and work so hard to make the meaning behind their dances come to life but are lacking costumes. Please give them the opportunity to have costumes to help portray the meaning behind their dances and connect with the audience. Costumes give my students the confidence and the opportunity to practice performing for an audience with costumes, lights, and music. My students love learning through movement. Dancing with costumes helps them learn to choreograph and coordinate movement with costumes, lights, music. Creating a real life experience of a dance coach, advisor, and teacher. Costumes will be reused year after year for many dances.
