Being able to use fun engaging games, books, card visuals, and science experiments will help my student fully engage in language lessons and better remember material during this COVID impacted learning environment. The items I have chosen will help language skills increase through hands-on experiences. The cups, spoons, and plates will be used in multiple science projects that will increase academic vocabulary and reading skills. The games and books will also add a variety of engaging ways to develop language and reading. I also can create more games and engaging activities by using the laminating machine and laminating sheets that are on my list. Context clue games, Can do comprehension, Big Box of Sentence Building, and Cue skills sequence cards are also great educational hands-on materials for learning language. One other item that will help students define their emotional language is the Emotional Dominos. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus during learning various language skills, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
