The Apple TV will help my classroom be more integrated and seamless as we transition from maps, diagrams, and photos. The ease and accessibility that Apple TV will provide will unlock new avenues and ideas for the students. This will help students see the material from a new perspective that connects with them. The virtual reality headset will help students see and place themselves in historical and geographical locations. Placing themselves in history will give them additional insight, empathy, and provide a platform for further questioning about the ideas and concepts taught in class. They will be able to see Rome, Athens, Stonehenge, and other amazing locations. The headsets will give the students an opportunity to learn independently as they navigate through Social Studies concepts together. The headsets will provide more equal access for all students to learn at their own timing and pace. These products are a great opportunity to ensure that social studies is engaging and provide equal access for my students to learn.
