During the pandemic we have learned how important it is to be able to do things for ourselves. Supply chain issues took on a whole new view and we often heard of meat shortages in the media. Help my students learn more about how to process and make some of their own food at home. The equipment purchased will aid in helping students be able to learn how to make things like bacon, jerky, sausage, and more all at home. They will learn how they can buy more economical bulk cuts and make them into the things they would use everyday. In addition I hope to give students skills that would help them go and get a job within the meat industry if they so choose.
