I want to use the math manipulatives like the fraction kit, money kit, and the base 10 kit in my lessons with students that are struggling with concepts from home or in the class. These manipulatives will be easy to see over Zoom since they are large. Students in the class will be able to come up to the board and use these themselves. I can send manipulatives home to the kids that are at home due to COVID so that they do not miss out on activities that are occurring in the class. I can use the gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers to buy digital lesson plans that will be easy for students at home to access. I would love to have the magnet kit to be able to provide students with strong magnets both in class and at home students so that they can do experiments. When students miss school due to COVID/illness they miss out on the activities that we do because we do not have enough supplies to send them home. I want my students to be inspired to want to build things and see how things that they build work.
