Many of my 1st Grade students can't read because they stayed home from school last year due to COVID-19. The materials I have choosen are to help them enjoy learning to read, write and have positive experiences in the classroom. I will be using the games in my small groups to excite my students to want to work with me without it seeming like they are working. The Legos are to help with students who need a reward for good work or as a distraction to use with students while I work with groups. The presenter will allow me to stay in the front of the classroom without running back and forth from the whiteboard to the computer.
