Reading is a gateway to success, and because of this I want to instill in my students a love for reading. My students all are at different stages and intesrest levels of their literacy journey, but they all have one thing in common. They love literature written by Mo Willems. I have a couple of these books in my classroom, and they are always highly sought after books. My kids need to have the opportunity to access these books and other high quality, age appropriate literature every day. As of now we do not have the resources in our classroom to be able to do that. These sets of books will assist in instilling a love of reading in my students! These books will play many roles in my classroom. They will be books that kids can choose to read. They will also be used in small group settings where students will get to choral read some of their favorite stories. I will also read these books aloud so that students can hear the expression that is so prevalent in these books. These books will enhance the environment of our classroom and the literacy in it.
