Young children love to learn using manipulatives and in my classroom we use them every day to teach letters, numbers and shapes. This purchase will allow me to create even better and lesson specific educational materials for my students to use in structured lessons and in dramatic play, sensory bins, and art. Due to COVID-19, this is the first experience with school for most of my students. This lack of exposure has led to many of them not knowing any colors, shapes, or identifying their names. My goal for all of my students is to have them Kindergarten ready by the end of the school year. This year is requiring a lot more remediation and reteaching than in the past and I am in need of more resources to do that. I would be able to make letters to adhere to small manipulatives to use in games in order to teacher letter names, letters sounds, and upper and lowercase matching. I would also be able to add numbers, shapes, colors, and symbols for number identification games, shape ID, and for teaching simple addition.
