Many of our students fell behind in learning as a result of COVID-19 and this program will assist their parents in getting reading fluency and reading scores up where they need to be. Our school has approved a reading specialist to read with our students weekly as a high percentage of them are multiple grade levels behind in reading. Studies show that choral reading improves test scores and these books and activities are fun and exciting for the student and will hopefully ignite a love for reading. These books will be what our reading specialist will use to read with the students.
