Running, jumping, skipping, throwing - Sports and physical education are about so much more then the game itself. It's about coordination, sensory, motor, balance, and teamwork and learning to be better and stronger than we were the day before. "You can modify any game to include everyone" Through this project, I am a requesting sensory motor tunnel, catch tail balls and ribbon wands for our adapted physical education program. These resources are those that students can use regardless of skill level. The visual nature of the catch tail balls make them easier for students to visually track while working on catching and throwing. Ribbon wands help them to develop an awareness of themselves in space and see how even the simplest movement/action causes a reaction. It is so exciting to have the opportunity to teach and watch these skills develop in my students. Thank you for supporting the growth and inclusion of my children.
