All of the materials in my cart will help my students become more engaged while learning at school! Some of the most expensive items in my cart are organizational items. I want to use these to help my students find things easier and give students their own space to keep things. COVID-19 helped me to realize that students benefit from having their own space to keep their things. This can help the students stay healthy because they are not getting germs from touching the same materials. Another thing I have in my cart are the Gel Erase Boards. There is definitely a learning loss because of COVID-19. Many of my students are far behind in phonics and reading because they were unable to see lips with masks or had to quarantine. To help this, I would like to use the Gel Erase Boards during phonics. I plan to teach students how to mark and decode words, which will hopefully help to bridge the gap.
