My students are in need of SEL items. As the School Counselor I have requested items to provide a classroom environment more geared toward Social Emotional Learning. Specifically, having a growth mindset and positive mentality. I believe this is especially important for students during the pandemic. I have only taught lessons in a classroom setting for one year, and therefore, am looking for items to assist in enhancing the aesthetic of my classroom through décor, organizational materials, and learning items. I am also requesting sensory items to help student cope with large and uncomfortable emotions they are navigating, largely due to the pandemic. My hope is to make my classroom, my lessons, and my time with students an enjoyable and productive experience.
