I have amazing students and families at Dawson HS. I am thankful to be able to support over 400 students in my alphabet. My students are so talented. I have students who are academically brilliant and also those who are world-class athletes, world class musicians, artists, theater buffs, singers, future veterinarians or culinary chefs. What is more meaningful to me is all of my students are very respectful when interacting with me. Although many students have loving families and positive home lives, there are those students who have unfortunately had traumatic experiences and need more support. If I can get this EMDR Trauma Therapy, I will have more skills to be able to help my students who have had past trauma. The benefits of EMDR are the resolution of trauma, improved relationships, better physical health, improved focus and concentration and improved sleep quality. The training is intensive and I need it! :)
