Due to Covid-19, first grade students have never had a "normal" school year. They do not like to be still for long lengths of time. When students are asked to sit still at a desk with their feet on the floor to "learn" all day long, they get bored, loss focus, and zone out. By having flexible seating in my classroom, students will be able to take charge of their learning by picking a seating option that best fits their learning style. When a student is allowed to use a wobble stool or wobble cushion they will be able get their wiggles out while still being able to focus on what we are learning about in class.

About my class
