Our charter school has only been in session for approximately four years. In that time, our students, parents, and teacher had to fight to keep our doors open. We are a small school with very limited resources. We do not have a formal library. There are donated books that line our walls in separate book shelves. However, those books are only for the advance readers of our many gifted and talented students. For those students who read at a kindergarten to third grade level, they have no access to reading material that they can enjoy with ease. Inclusive education for all students begins with a good book in their lap which they can fully enjoy. We are a Title I school which is still in it's infancy struggling to provide the best educational experience possible for our children. The diversity is tremendous and much support through donations is truly needed.
