Each night students are able to take home a book that coordinates with the level they are reading on in class. When students only have books that are above their level it only makes reading a frustrating experience for everyone involved. Leveled books gives the students an opportunity to read on their level each night, which affects their reading in such a positive way. Our take home library was put together several years ago and a lot of the books are worn out, or out of date. Replacing some of them would greatly enhance our library.
