Since my students are in a lockdown facility, they don't get the opportunity to go on field trips in order to get the feel for what places and times were like. They don't really see the immediate world around them in a positive way. This project will give the students the opportunity to engage and visit those places we've read about. Can you imagine being able to see that? Having this opportunity to connect to places just might help them become more excited to read more and learn more about places they've learned about and contribute to society. I want them to have a more positive outlook on the world around them.

About my class
